Sony Alpha journal: Aruba
My focus in photos got tremendously better now that I feel more comfortable with the camera. Most of my photos would look good as postcards, so now I am debating if I should print them as such. For now, just going to use the photo printer (which is amazing, by the way). Looking into how people sell their photos/prints outside of dA. I would totally buy mine if they were in some sort of a cool collection with a reasonable price, so I might look into doing something like that.
I do very little self-marketing, so it seems like although my photography has improved, it is not very easily findable by people that would appreciate it. Makes me sad.

I am starting to get better with focus/light/vision etc, but I should watch more tutorials for editing. Most of my editing is very minimal. I enjoy original photos that do not have a lot of editing, but seems like most of the art community appreciates a photo more when there's additional work. Not sure if I should spend more time on the original photo without editing, or the editing process itself to make everything look better. Will likely get another lens next year, maybe.

I just noticed that I've been a dA member for 8 years and that I'm nearing a pretty huuuge milestone when it comes to people who checked my art out (30k??). I'm sorry I don't do more than a couple of photos here and there, but I guess I've proven myself as someone that does come back once in a while :D
Thanks for the views, watches, favorites and - LLAMAS! - because I loooove llamas.
Any constructive criticism is appreciated. If you wish to use anything as inspiration, please note me. I'll probably let you use w.e it is :)
I'm back in school
Some may be wondering where the heck all of my photography is...
Well, there's 3 reasons regarding that.
1. I really really need a new camera, because I just cannot work with this one anymore. I'll make do, but I need the next step towards something better that I can learn. The one I have will probably be good for street photography, but it's so outdated, I feel embarrassed to use it.
2. I'm majoring in Communications at my university, which isn't really about photography, so in order to continue having a 3.8 GPA, I can't do a whole lot of snapshots.
3. I'm in an art-slump. I feel like no photo I make is up to par with what I did a couple
